Campers attend Cazadero Summer Music Camp for one or two week sessions based on grade level and musical experience. Learn which session is right for your camper. Your session fee includes all activities, meals, a camp t-shirt, camp photo and a concert highlights CD. An early enrollment discount is available for families who pay fees in full before Dec. 31, 2019. A 10% multi-camper discount and a Bring-a-Buddy Refund are also available.

Which Session is Right for my Camper?
  • Young Musicians: Students with at least one year experience on their instrument may participate in Young Musicians. In this session young musicians develop ensemble skills through participation in String Orchestra, Concert Band, and All-Camp Choir. A Piano Program and an Orff Ensemble Program are also offered. Jazz Ensemble is offered as an elective. Students must have at least one year of musical training, notational reading skills and be able to play one-octave scales on their instruments.
  • Middle School: (Two years experience, 1 to 2 week session) Students with at least two years of instruction on their primary instrument further their ensemble skills through participation in chamber groups, Orchestra, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble and All-Camp Choir. A Guitar Program and Piano Programs are available. Students in this session have the option of coming for one week or two.
  • Junior High: (Three years experience, 2 week session) Musicians aspiring to a reach a higher skill level enjoy this session. They should have at least three years of musical training, notational reading skills and sufficient technique to perform one to three-octave scales on their instruments. Students may participate in Orchestra, Concert Band, and Jazz Ensemble. Guitar and Piano Programs are also available.
  • High School: (Four years experience, 2 week session) Accomplished players can stretch the limits of their ability in Orchestra, Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble. Musicians need at least four years of musical training and be able to perform two to three-octave major, minor and chromatic scales and arpeggios on their instrument. Guitar and Piano Programs are also available.
