Learning how to play music is more than just a new skill. It can help young people find community, build confidence, and develop a lifelong connection to the arts.
For nearly 70 years, our long-time grantee Cazadero Performing Arts Camp has brought young musicians together in the redwoods of Northern California. When severe storm damage threatened its 2026 camp season, staff, volunteers, alumni, and community members worked together to rebuild and safely welcome 645 campers back for a summer of music, learning, and friendship.
